Corinth Alcorn Animal Shelter (CAAS) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit
providing animal sheltering services for our community under
contract with the City of Corinth. This policy explains what
information we collect through corinthalcornanimalshelter.org and
our programs, and how we use it.
Information We Collect
- Donations: name, mailing address, email, phone, and payment
information to process your gift and issue a tax receipt
- Contact form: name, contact information, and your message
(protected by Google reCAPTCHA)
- Adoption, foster, volunteer, and surrender applications:
contact and household information, references, and other details
needed to make placement decisions, submitted through Shelterluv,
our shelter management platform
- Newsletter and text signups: your email and/or mobile number,
managed through Klaviyo
- Website activity: general traffic information collected through
GoDaddy's built-in analytics and a Meta (Facebook) Pixel, used
to understand site usage and measure our Facebook/Instagram
advertising
How We Use Your Information
We use it to process donations, evaluate applications, reunite
lost pets with families, send the communications you've signed up
for, respond to your questions, and meet our legal and
contractual obligations, including those tied to our municipal
contract with the City of Corinth. We do not use your information
for anything beyond this without telling you.
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share
information only as needed with: PayPal (to process donations),
Klaviyo (to deliver emails and texts), Shelterluv (to manage
applications), Meta (for advertising), Google reCAPTCHA (spam
protection), veterinary and rescue/transport partners (for animal
care and placement), and government or legal authorities when
required by law.
No mobile information will be shared with third
parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the
above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data
and consent. This information will not be shared with any third
parties.
Text Messaging
By opting in, you agree to receive text messages from CAAS.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Text
HELP for help or STOP to opt out at any time. Consent to receive
texts is never a condition of adopting, fostering, volunteering,
or donating.

Our site uses cookies through GoDaddy's built-in analytics and a
Meta Pixel for advertising and site-traffic measurement. You can
